Authentic vintage ceramic piece from the renowned Spanish manufacturer Sargadelos, Galicia.
This model, known as “Moucho” (owl), features a distinctive zoomorphic design combining sculptural form with bold geometric decoration. The stylized shape subtly evokes an owl, with a rounded body, integrated handle, and spout forming a beak-like silhouette.
Decorated in deep blue, teal, and beige tones on a glossy white background, this piece is a perfect example of Sargadelos’ iconic modernist aesthetic inspired by Galician art.
The blue underglaze “Sargadelos A.R.” mark confirms authenticity and production during the modern revival period of the manufacture (from the 1970s onward). This type of marking is highly sought-after and guarantees durability, as it will not fade over time.
Can be used as a small pitcher, creamer, sauce vessel, or decorative vase.
