Vintage German ceramic vase from the Kiel Atelier line by Carstens Tönnieshof, a well-known manufacturer of West German Pottery (WGP).
This piece features a distinctive flared funnel shape with a sculptural handle, finished in a rich brown and earthy drip glaze typical of the 1960s–1970s period. The organic tones and textured surface are characteristic of the “Fat Lava” aesthetic, highly appreciated in mid-century interiors.
Originally designed as a vase, this model is sometimes also identified as a candle holder due to its wide opening.
